Bio

Born January 16, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jimmy Walker has enjoyed immense success in professional golf. He learned the game from his father, who was a scratch golfer. His love for 

the game quickly grew exponentially from there. Upon finishing high school, he attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He turned professional in 2001.

Throughout his career Jimmy has tremendous success on the course, including his 2016 PGA Championship win.

 

“It feels sweet, it’s amazing,” Walker said after his victory PGA Championship victory. “I felt like something clicked last week and I brought it in this week.”

Jimmy’s previous success includes winning the 2015 Valero Texas Open and the 2014 & 2015 Sony Open.

Jimmy met his wife, Erin, while she was tournament volunteer during a 2004 Web.com Tour event. The Walkers are proud parents of two boys, McLain and Beckett. In addition to being a wife and mother, Erin is an competitive amateur equestrian athlete.

When he’s not golfing or spending time with his family, Jimmy enjoys taking astronomy photos.
